Beijing Winter Olympic Games Opening Ceremony Ice Cube Mechanical

The "Ice Cube" mechanical device is the core display device for the opening ceremony's five rings, designed, developed, and manufactured by JINDONG HI-TECH. It is located on the east side of the center of the National Stadium, facing the podium. It is 22m long from north to south, 7m wide from east to west, and 10m high. When raised, it forms a rectangular prism with LEDs on both the top and sides.

The "Ice Cube" mechanical equipment has set multiple records for entertainment equipment:

①It is the largest equipment for the opening ceremony performance, with a plane size of 22m × 7m and a lifting height of 10m.

②The total weight of the equipment is about 400 tons, and the lifting weight is about 200 tons.

③The maximum lifting speed reaches 0.45m/s.

④Designed for outdoor environments, with a maximum instantaneous wind speed of 10m/s.
